MSI GF63 | Remove Power Limits and Push Thermal Limits using Custom EC Firmware in Your MSI GF63 Laptop? Complete Tutorial

  MSI GF63 Thin Gaming Laptop is one of the most affordable laptops available in recent years market. So Basically, Many Students might have bought this one.

I assume and kind of sure that Most people use it for Gaming, 2d and 3d Designing and also Coding stuff.

all these things require lot of processing power and use a lot of energy which ultimately heats up the device. When I say Heat up I really mean it. It heats like surface of sun! 

To overcome that manufacturing companies put power and thermal limits on the EC firmware which ultimately reduce cpu and gpu perfomance.

For example, in MSI gf63, MSI has put power limit of 25 watt in it. So when cpu reaches that it will reduce frequency and cut the power. It is Fact that i5 9300h and i5 10300h has actual TDP from intel of 45to50 Watts. so 25 watt from 50 watts is very heavy downgrade of performance for favour of cooler temps and longer life span.

In this Post I will give you complete steps to get your power limits removed.

Step 1 :

 Install Custom EC firmware for your MSI gf63 Laptop.

Download the MSI modded EC firmware for your MSI Laptop from Link Given below :

Download and Extract the File on your Desktop.

Now right click the EC_Win.BAT file and run it as administrator.

it will oopen a CMD window Now Type y and press enter.

Your laptop pc will restart in few seconds when installation completes.

once it restarts now your pc has modded firmware installed and it is ready to be configured.

Just after installing it already has removed thaat 25-watt TDP ban from your EC still your need to configure it further to run seamlessly. 

Step 2:

Configure MSI GF63 BIOS

Open Bios menu by pressing delete key before msi logo appears while restarting.

Step 3:

Open HIDDEN MENU in MSI bios.

Secrete keys to enter magic menu where all the important settings lie. :

RIGHT SHIFT + RIGHT CTRL + LEFT ALT + F2
